Roger Ammoun Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Roger was the CEO of Consensus Business Group Middle East, a multi-billion UK private equity and strategic investment group. Roger has been focused on establishing CBG as a leading Private Equity player in the GCC & Middle East markets. Roger's key activities included developing CBG's strategic investment programs for technology transfer and economic development and advising the Saudi and Jordanian governments on their renewable energy agendas. Roger was the founding member of the $250 million Masdar Clean Tech Fund which was setup in partnership with Abu Dhabi Government and Credit Suisse and was a Fund Management partner responsible for all aspects of portfolio strategy, investment analysis, business valuations, deal origination, execution and ongoing monitoring. Prior to Consensus, Roger worked at Reuters where he held various management roles across different business units including the management of Reuters internal technology VC portfolio. In 2004 he was appointed to head the Reuters Consulting Group advising financial institutions on Technology platforms, Market Risk Management, Algorithmic Trading and Equity Research. Roger is on the Investment Committee of Masdar Clean Tech Fund, and serves as board director to Europlasma and observer to Sulfurcell. Roger holds an MBA from Columbia University and a Computer and Communication Engineering degree from the American University of Beirut.
