Michael Arpeyis a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Customized Fund Investment Group. Previously, Mr. Arpey was responsible for oversight of Prudential's global private equity activities. Mr. Arpey also had primary responsibility for managing Prudential's fund investment group. Previously, Mr. Arpey was Director of Alternative Investments for the New York State Common Retirement Fund, where he managed a $7 billion private equity portfolio. Prior to that, Mr. Arpey was a trustee for the Pennsylvania Public School Employee Retirement System and the State Employees Retirement System. Mr. Arpey received a Bachelor of Science degree with cum laude distinction from St. Lawrence University in 1985 and a Juris Doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law in 1988.
